A RESOUNDING SUCCESS FOR INFRA 2018, THE 24th ANNUAL CERIU CONFERENCE
Honorary chairperson Régis Labeaume, mayor of Quebec City, opened the CERIU INFRA 2018 Conference which took place from November 19 to 21 at the Centre des congrès de Québec. The conference theme was The Challenges of Urban Engineering: Multidisciplinarity, Social Acceptability and Innovation. Jonatan Julien (see picture), Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and Minister Responsible for the Côte-Nord Region and past president of CERIU, delivered an eloquent speech that resonated deeply with participants.
In an increasingly urbanized world confronted with environmental changes and major economic problems, practices related to urban infrastructure and municipal asset management are facing new challenges.
