The aim objective of the Water Asset Resilience Best Practices in the Context of Climate Change is to support municipalities’ resilience approaches by assisting in diagnostics to identify vulnerable water assets and providing possible solutions for climate change adaptation.
The practical guide provides a non-exhaustive overview of best practices for managing assets in the face of heavy rainfall, drought, and storms it includes 13 guidance sheets.
It is accompanied by a self-assessment tool to determine the vulnerability and resilience of municipal assets to climate change. Once the tool is finalized, a draft roadmap will be developed, leading to an implementation document, which will also be included in the tool.
The guide and tool will soon be the subject of a training course.
It is available free of charge to anyone who creates an account on our website or logs in.
A French version is also available.
