Titre anglais : Risk Based apporach to Mettalic Pipe Condition Assessment
Biographie du conférencier : Cameron White, Pure Technologies
Cameron White has over 10 years of experience in all aspects of inspection and condition assessment of large diameter water and waste water pipelines, from field data collection to preparing engineering reports. He has worked in North Africa and throughout North and South America on some of the World’s largest pipelines. Mr. White works for Pure Technologies and is currently the Regional Manager for Eastern Canada, based out of Halifax.
Résumé de la conférence
There are various commercial options available to inspect metallic pressure pipes. In general the cost and complexity of executing a condition assessment rises with increasing resolution and reliability. A desktop risk of failure assessment can be used to determine which level of inspection and engineering analysis is required to meet the condition assessment objective in a cost effective manner.
Variables used to perform a risk of failure prioritization, available metallic pipe inspection tools and case studies of a high, medium and low risk of failure condition assessment will be discussed.
